Est. $40,000-$50,000 Elvis Presley's Personally Owned & Worn Beau Gentry Poplin Coat W/COA - This white double-breasted poplin coat was personally owned and worn by Elvis Presley in the late 1960s to 1970s. The coat features a full lining, covered buttons and two front patch pockets, and was made by Beau Gentry of Hollywood, California, where Elvis purchased many clothing articles during this period. Elvis was photographed wearing the coat on several occasions, including August 1, 1960 backstage at the International Hotel in Las Vegas while meeting Terry Mike Jeffrey and while meeting fans at the gates of Graceland. The jacket bears an interior Beau Gentry clothing label, and comes with a certificate of authenticity from Jimmy Velvet of the Elvis Presley Museum. Velvet created the Elvis Presley Museum, the only museum in the world which is licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises and Graceland, four years before Graceland opened its doors to the public. Velvet owned and was President of the museum, and amassed the largest authentic collection of artifacts owned by Elvis Presley in the world.
