Est. $15,000-$18,500 Marilyn Monroe's Personally Owned Long Faux Pearl Necklace Acquired from Kent Warner W/Letter of Provenance - This long 62" faux pearl necklace was personally owned by iconic American actress, Marilyn Monroe. The pearls were acquired by a collector from Hollywood costumer Kent Warner, who worked for MGM Studios and is known for 'liberating' props such as the iconic ruby red slippers of "The Wizard of Oz" and Humphrey Bogart's trenchcoat from "Casablanca". The pearls will be accompanied by a typeset letter of provenance signed by Warner and dated '4/17/1979' which states in part, "I was a studio runner and delivered lots of mail and packages to Marilyn's dressing room and she always invite[d] me to come in and have a soda pop with her. We became good friends and she game me this faux long pearl necklace, from her personal wardrobe as a memento."
