Paloma Picasso 1989 Solid 18K Yellow Gold 1.32" Hammered Leaf Earrings W/Folding Posts (Comes W/$11,000 Appraisal) - These incredibly rare vintage ear clips were designed for Tiffany & Co. Italy by renowned designer Paloma Picasso. Paloma Picasso is the daughter of Pablo Picasso and Francoise Gilot, and is a true artist in her own right, celebrated for her boldly original style. As the daughter of one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, Paloma brings a uniquely artistic point of view to her jewelry designs for Tiffany & Co. These now retired earrings were finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold and have a leaf-shaped motif. The earrings have a functional, convertible design as the posts of the earrings fold, allowing you to wear them with or without pierced ears. This attention to detail displays the excellence which is synonymous with the Tiffany brand. The back of each earring is signed "T&C 18KT Italy" and "Paloma Picasso" along with the date "1989". These are unaltered, original vintage Tiffany pieces.
