Est. $7,000-$7,500 Henry Dunay Solid 18K Yellow Gold 1.25" Omega Earrings - These beautiful earrings were made by world renowned, award-winning designer Henry Dunay. The earrings were masterfully crafted of vibrant solid 18k yellow gold and have a luxurious, aesthetically pleasing design which uses the designer's famous fine scratched "Sabi" finish accented with highly polished accents. The earrings measure 1.25"L x 1"W, and have omega backs for added security while wearing. They are signed "Dunay" along with the serial number and gold purity. Henry Dunay started his career at the age of 14 and started his own firm in 1956, initially taking on work from other manufacturers (including Harry Winston) to support himself. He quickly found success and fame after winning the De Beers Diamond International Award, which showered images of his designs around the world. He has been awarded over 50 National and International Awards over fifty years, and is a four time winner of the Diamond International award. His pieces have been worn at countless red carpet events on celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Denzel Washington's wife, Hillary Clinton, and Adrien Brody. In 2013 "Lost Love", a carved aquamarine, diamond, platinum and gold sculpture by Dunay brought a realized price of $170,500 at auction, and rock crystal quartz and yellow gold mounted presentation bowl of a boat-shaped outline fetched $68,500.
