Est. $28,000-$29,000 Ilias Lalaounis Minoan & Mycenaean Collection Solid 18K Yellow Gold Necklace/Drop Earring Suite (Comes W/$28,000 Appraisal) - This beautiful jewelry suite was made in Greece by famed designer Ilias Lalaounis. This jewelry designer is so well loved and historic that they have their own museum, The Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum is a museum in Athens, Greece. These necklace and earrings made their debut as part of the designer's signature Minoan & Mycenaean collection, and feature a luxurious design crafted of vibrant solid 18k yellow gold. The necklace is comprised of alternating fluted and textured barrel-shaped beads and ribbed bouton-shaped beads, and is finished with three large 20mm spherical beads of finely hammered texture. The accompanying drop earrings are similarly crafted with a 20.5mm hammered dome at the post followed by a ribbed horn, bouton bead and terminating with a hammered globe. The earrings have clip-on backs, and can be worn with or without pierced ears. The necklace and earrings are stamped with the Ilias Lalaounis hallmark, "Greece", "A21" and with the gold purity "750".
