Est. $28,000-$30,000 Qing Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Imperial Dragons Single Gourd Vase (From a Vietnamese Royal Family) - This single gourd porcelain vase is elaborately decorated in vivid underglazed blue with a rare "19 x 9" Jiu design symbolizing everlasting, longevity and eternality. The vase is decorated with three Imperial five-clawed dragons amongst lotus flowers and a densely populated background of foliate branches. The underside of the vase bears the double circle blue underglazed mark typical of the Kangxi period, when the use of nianhao (imperial reign marks) was suspended. This piece comes from the estate of a Vietnamese Royal Family (the family now lives in the United States, and wishes to remain private as they still have relatives living in Vietnam). Measurements: 19"H x 9"W.
