This model is the Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, and was finely crafted of 18k white gold and stainless steel. This is an extremely rare model, as Rolex made such a limited quantity that they are not even displayed in stores. You can only get this watch if you know to ask for it, and that is if you can even find a retailer that has one in stock. This particular model is the first generation Sky-Dweller that Rolex created, and is sure to have excellent collectability and investment potential. This is the ultimate timepiece for the world traveler, and provides the information that global travelers need to keep track of time at a glance. The watch features: 42mm Oyster case; perpetual mechanical self-winding movement with dual time zones and annual calendar; 18k white gold fluted bidirectional rotating bezel; screw down crown with Twinlock double waterproofness system; scratch resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens over date; black dial with highly legible Chromalight display, date aperture at 3 o'clock; water resistance up to 100 m; 72 hour (approximate) power reserve; and stainless steel 21mm Oyster bracelet with folding Oysterlock safety clasp with Easylink 5mm comfort extension link. The watch also has the following functions: Two time zones displayed simultaneously, with local time indicated by the conventional center hour, minute and seconds hands. The time can be easily set by means of a mechanism that allows the hour hand to be adjusted independently in one hour increments, and with this function neither the minute and seconds nor the reference time in the second time zone are affected, and since the watch is not stopped the accuracy is preserved. The traveler's reference time in the usual place of residence or work is read on a rotating off center disc with a fixed inverted red triangle pointing to the wearer's chosen reference time. The disc has a 24-hour display which allows travelers to clearly distinguish daytime hours from night time hours in distant time zone.
