Est. $20,000-$21,000 Henry Dunay Solid 18K Yellow Gold & Platinum Bracelet (Comes W/$20,000 Appraisal) - This immaculately crafted estate bracelet was made by world renowned, award-winning designer Henry Dunay. The bracelet was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold and platinum, and is quite unique as the maker used a composition of diamond cut gold finish, matte gold finish and the high polish finish that we are most familiar with in the jewelry world. The bracelet is punctuated with satin finished solid platinum wave accents, showing the excellent attention to detail which is synonymous with the Dunay name. Henry Dunay started his career at the age of 14 and started his own firm in 1956, initially taking on work from other manufacturers (including Harry Winston) to support himself. He quickly found success and fame after winning the De Beers Diamond International Award, which showered images of his designs around the world. He has been awarded over 50 National and International Awards over fifty years, and is a four time winner of the Diamond International award. His pieces have been worn at countless red carpet events on celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Denzel Washington's wife, Hillary Clinton, and Adrien Brody. In 2013 "Lost Love", a carved aquamarine, diamond, platinum and gold sculpture by Dunay brought a realized price of $170,500 at auction, and rock crystal quartz and yellow gold mounted presentation bowl of a boat-shaped outline fetched $68,500. This bracelet is signed "Dunay" along with the serial number and metal content, and measures 7"L x 0.5"W. (WEIGHT: 70.9 grams) Please note: This piece comes with a $20,000 insurance valuation report in the winning bidder's name by a graduate appraiser.
