Est. $3,500-$5,000 "The Man in Black" Custom Boutique Guitar Made from Wood From Johnny Cash's Home Built by Glen Morgan Guitars W/COA - This stunning, custom made boutique guitar was made by legendary guitar builder Glen Morgan Guitars, and was partially crafted using wood taken from the gates of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash's beloved Tenessee estate. The longtime home of the country music superstar was a 4.5 acre lakefront property located at 200 Caudill Dive on Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and tragically burned during a renovation leaving only the gates standing. The gates were eventually taken down and were preserved by our seller who gave the wood to legendary guitar builder Glen Morgan Guitars, who made a very limited amount of guitars from this historical wood. The guitar is crafted of mahogany with a cedar top and has a 3-piece neck made of mahogany and walnut. The guitar also has a walnut fingerboard mother of pearl inlay and all wood binding. The guitar has information on the inside of the body stating that is a Glen Morgan built guitar along with the model and serial number, which is signed by Glen Morgan. The guitar will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity and will come housed in a fitted hard case.
