Est. $30,000-$35,000 Star Wars Life Size Remote Controlled R2D2 W/Working Lights & Sounds (Museum Exhibited) - This incredible piece is a life sized remote controlled R2D2 replica. These rare, life size working replicas almost never come available, and this particular build is unlike any of the models we have seen available today. The R2D2 is constructed with an aluminum dome and metal skins (most have plastic skins and fiberglass dome), and features: full motion remote controlled system with PS2 remote, rotating dome that can rotate a full 360 degrees while in motion, automotive sound system with pre-loaded sound effects and SD card addition which can be triggered by the remote or by motion sensor, working lights, transmitter and receiver. The R2D2 also features genuine Ampflow E30-150 motor, 4" Colson Wheel at 1.5" wide with custom "zero pinch" axel with radial bearings on each side, large mounting nut access slots on the battery box side of the frame, 3.25" VEX Pro Omni Wheel rear caster, and shortened drive bracket for easier mounting. R2 measures approx. 44"H x 28"W, and weighs approx. 75 lbs. The piece will come with the charging cord. This vehicle is currently on display in a museum. Shipping will be at the expense of the buyer, and the auction house will help facilitate shipping arrangements, if necessary. The item is located in Missouri.
