Status: Sold

Est. $10,000-$15,000 Elvis Presley- Original Upholstery from The Film Loving You Hot Rod - This upholstrey was taken out of the hot rod used in Elvis Presley's first starring role in a film "Loving You." This upholstrey was removed due to old age. It is the actual seat Elvis sat on while using the car throughout the film. Elvis loved the hot rod so much that he tried to buy it after the film wrapped production, but the original owner and builder refused to sell it to him. The upholstrey will come with copies of photos of it being removed from the car (lot number 8 in this auction) As well as a written statement from the man who removed it and who has kept it for all of these years, as he was at the forefront of the conservation project alongside John Athan who was the original builder of the car. This is an amazing piece of history that has been greatly cared for by one owner since 1957. You will never see anything like this ever again.
