Est. $10,000-$15,000 Elvis Presley's Personally Owned Fred Segal Sweater Vest W/Notarized LOA & Letter of Provenance - This Fred Segal sweater vest is made of 100% zephyr wool and was once in the wardrobe of Elvis Presley. The double breasted vest has four white buttons and is a navy color fitting of Elvis' mid-late 1960s wardrobe selections. The vest was originally acquired from Memphis Mafia member Richard Davis, who benefited from Elvis' generosity as he wore the same size in various garments. The sweater will be accompanied by a notarized letter of provenance from Thomas Morgan Jr., who went to high school with Elvis and reconnected with the King many years later, as he was the Administrative Assistant to the Shelby County Sherrif's Department and eventually even assisted with coordinating the security for Elvis' funeral. Morgan acquired the vest from Davis, as documented in the accompanying copy of the original letter of authenticity from Morgan on Shelby County Sherrif's Department letterhead. The vest will also come with a third notarized letter of authenticity from the current owner of the piece.
