Est. $2,000-$3,000 Forrest Gump (1994) Blue Pajama Pants Used by Wardrobe Department W/COA - These blue pajama pants were extra pants that were used by the wardrobe department during the production of the iconic 1994 feature film, "Forrest Gump". The film was directed by Robert Zemeckis and stars Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise, Mykelti Williamson, and Sally Field. The film became a commercial success as the top-grossing film in North America released in that year, earning over $677 million worldwide during its theatrical run. It won the Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Visual Effects and Best Film Editing, and also garnered multiple other awards and nominations, including Golden Globes, People's Choice Awards and Young Artist Awards. In 2011, the Library of Congress selected the film for preservation in the United States National Film Registry as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
