Est. $3,000-$5,000 Elvis Presley Tonometer Used on Tour by Personal Nurse Tish Henley in Original Case W/LOA - This tonometer was used on Elvis Presley by his personal nurse Letetia "Tish" Henley Kirk. Tish Henley was Elvis' personal nurse from 1968 to 1977, and lived behind the Graceland mansion with her husband and their two daughters from 1973 to 1983. She worked on call at the Graceland mansion and often on tour with Elvis and took care of the entire Presley family under the supervision of Elvis' long time trusted physician Dr. George Nichopoulos. According to the letter of authenticity from Tish Henley, this medical instrument was used to measure pressure in the eye, a test which Henley was taught to do by Dr. Bob Anthony. Elvis had a diagnosis of Glaucoma and used eye drops to help control it. This instrument was used both at Graceland and on tour, as they had to keep a close watch on Elvis' eye pressure as he was exposed to very bright lights on stage. The tonometer will come housed in its original hard case with attachments.
