Est. $3,000-$5,000 Elvis Presley Laryngoscope in Original Case W/Papers Used on Tour by Personal Nurse Tish Henley W/LOA - This "Cool-Lite Fiberoptic AC Laryngoscope System" was used on Elvis Presley by his personal nurse Letetia "Tish" Henley Kirk. Tish Henley was Elvis' personal nurse from 1968 to 1977, and lived behind the Graceland mansion with her husband and their two daughters from 1973 to 1983. She worked on call at the Graceland mansion and often on tour with Elvis and took care of the entire Presley family under the supervision of Elvis' long time trusted physician Dr. George Nichopoulos. According to the letter of authenticity from Tish Henley, Dr. Nick and Ms. Henley were the only two to use this instrument on Elvis Presley. The laryngoscope was used to check Elvis' vocal cords, and nurse Henley would often assist Dr. Nick during the exam which checked for swelling and irritations of the throat. The laryngoscope will come housed in the original hard carrying case with attachments, instructions and papers.
