Est. $5,000-$7,500 Elvis Presley Travel Medical Case Used on Tour by Personal Nurse Tish Henley W/LOA - This medical bag was used by Elvis Presley's personal nurse Letetia "Tish" Henley Kirk to carry her medical instruments while traveling on Tour with Elvis. Tish Henley was Elvis' personal nurse from 1968 to 1977, and lived behind the Graceland mansion with her husband and their two daughters from 1973 to 1983. She worked on call at the Graceland mansion and often on tour with Elvis and took care of the entire Presley family under the supervision of Elvis' long time trusted physician Dr. George Nichopoulos. According to the letter of authenticity from Tish Henley, the case would carry her medical instruments that would be used for Elvis and tour members. The letter also states that the green contact paper added to the top was Elvis' idea to dress up the case, and the pair added the contact paper to the case one evening. The inside of the case also has an index card with various handwritten telephone numbers. This travel case was Ms. Henley's equivilent to Dr. Nick's medical bag which he used on tour, and is an iconic piece of rock n' roll memorabilia which gives a glimpse of the strenuous nature of Elvis' touring schedule and rock n' roll lifestyle.
