Est. $100,000-$125,000 Elvis Presley Jar of Hair From the Collection of Tish Henley W/LOA - This is a jar of Elvis Presley's hair obtainted from one of his hair cuts. The hair originated from the collection of Elvis' longtime personal nurse Letetia "Tish" Henley Kirk, who was Elvis' personal nurse from 1968 to 1977, and lived behind the Graceland mansion with her husband and their two daughters from 1973 to 1983. She worked on call at the Graceland mansion and often on tour with Elvis and took care of the entire Presley family under the supervision of Elvis' long time trusted physician Dr. George Nichopoulos. According to the letter of authenticity, this hair was obtained from one of Elvis' last hair cuts in 1977 by Tish's husband Tommy, and was given to their daughter as a keepsake and kept in Henley's posession ever since. This is an excellent investment piece, as Celebrity Memorabilia continues to rise in value faster and more steadily than any other asset class, due to the uniqueness and rarity of the items, and this piece comes directly from someone who was very close with the King. A lock of Elvis' hair was sold in 2002, for over $115,000.
