Est. $95,000-$96,000 Oscar Heyman 4.00ctw Emerald, 3.50ctw VS1-VS2/F-G Diamond & Solid Platinum Pendant on 9.00ctw Diamond Tennis Necklace (Comes W/$95,000 Appraisal) - This stunning vintage statement necklace is comprised of a diamond and emerald pendant by Oscar Heyman which hangs from a 9.00ctw diamond and solid platinum tennis necklace. The pendant was finely crafted of solid platinum and has a luxurious design centered around a 1.50ct (approximate) genuine VS1-VS2/F-G oval cut center diamond encircled by approximately 4.00ctw genuine pear cut emeralds. The outermost perimeter is then finished with approximately 2.00ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G round and marquise cut diamond accents in an alternating pattern, finishing the piece flawlessly. The pendant hangs on a solid platinum tennis necklace which is decorated with approximately 9.00ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G brilliant round cut diamonds. This versatile piece is perfect for a day to night look, as the pendant can be removed from the tennis necklace by a hinged bale allowing you to wear the necklace alone should you choose. Both the pendant and necklace are numbered along with the metal content "PLAT". Since the inception of the brand in 1912, Oscar Heyman has manufactured pieces for names such as Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier, eventually becoming known in the jewelry industry as "The jewelers' jeweler". While working for Cartier in 1969, the Heyman brothers designed and crafted the pear shape diamond necklace for the 68 carat Taylor-Burton Diamond. The pendant measures 1.25" x 1" and the necklace measures 15.5" in length. (WEIGHT: 35.3 grams) Please note: this piece will be accompanied by a $95,000 insurance valuation report in the winning bidder's name by a graduate appraiser.
