The ring was finely crafted of solid 18k white gold, and is in the form of an intricately detailed smiling hippo. The hippo is embellished with 7.80ctw pave set amethyst and is finished with 0.23ctw pink sapphire ears and 0.31ctw VVS1-VVS2/F-G diamond eyes and teeth. The hippo also has a truly animated look, as it wears a rhodium plated face mask and is handcuffed with moving handcuffs, a signature of the collection. Creation I, a necklace by de Grisogono, was sold for nearly $125 million, in 2017's Christie's sale. This designer is known for the finest luxury goods and you rarely find these pieces made for the world's most elite available, especially in this mint condition with original box and tag. The ring measures a massive 21.5mm wide at the widest point, is brand new, and will come housed in the original box with the original tag and certificate of authenticity. The piece will also come with a $28,000 insurance valuation report in the winning bidder's name.
