Est. $47,500-$48,500 5.46ct No Heat Ceylon Color Change Sapphire, 1.00ctw VS1-VS2/F-G Diamond & Solid Platinum Ring W/C. Dunaigre Gemstone Report & $47,500 Appraisal - This beautiful ring was finely crafted of solid platinum and boasts a magnificent 5.46ct genuine oval cut color change sapphire. The sapphire will be accompanied by a Gemstone Report from C. Dunaigre Switzerland, which states that the sapphire has a natural color which changes from blue in daylight to bluish-purple in incandescent light, no indications of heating, a Sri Lankan (Ceylon) origin and an "excellent" quality grade. This piece has excellent investment potential, as sapphires from Sri Lanka are some of the world's most famous and sought after sapphires due to the color in the blues only second to the extremely rare Kashmir sapphire. Today Sri Lankan sapphires are the most sought by the top gem buyers and collectors from around the globe. No heat sapphires of this size and quality are becoming more and more scarce, and are nearly impossible to find in today's market. The ring is also decorated with approximately 1.00ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G brilliant round cut diamonds creating a halo around the sapphire and lining the shoulders of the ring, finishing the piece flawlessly. The ring will be accompanied by the Gemstone Report for the sapphire, along with a $47,500 insurance valuation report in the winning bidder's name by a graduate appraiser. Ring size: 6. (WEIGHT: 9.1 grams)
