Est. $345,000-$355,000 5.80ct Kashmir No Heat Sapphire W/SSEF & Gubelin Certification Solid Platinum Ring W/0.75ctw VS1-VS2/G-H Diamond Baguettes (Comes W/$345,000 Appraisal) - This magnificent ring boasts a stunning 5.80ct genuine Kashmir sapphire which has been certified by both SSEF and Gubelin, who are the world leaders and most prestigious in colored gemstone grading. The sapphire is an elegant and timeless oval/antique cushion cut, and displays a blue of medium strong transparent blue color with "no indications of heating" according to both reports. Kashmir Sapphires are the most famous sapphires in the world, and are almost never seen, except in museums or photographs. They are so highly valued and sought after due to their superb cornflower blue color and a sleepy quality that is often described as "blue velvet". These incredible gemstones almost never become available in the open market. This Kashmir is an older-cut that has never been made available to the open market as it has been in an estate for over 50 years. You simply cannot find these stones due to their rarity and high demand. The sapphire is set in a custom made 4-prong, solid platinum setting, which is embellished with approximately 0.75ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G brilliant baguette-cut diamonds. This ring will come with the SSEF and Gubelin reports for the sapphire, along with a $345,000 insurance valuation report in the winning bidder's name by a graduate appraiser. This Kashmire is a very deep cut and was placed in this custom made setting to best display its deep blue colour while being hoisted in this regal display. The undercarriage of the ring pierced accents that create a beautiful curved design while being worn as it meets the finger. The diamond baguette accents flare out from the piece, creating a fanned, full design above the shoulders of the piece. The Kashmir measures: 9.5mm x 7.44mm x 8.64ct and the band measures 3.5mm wide. Ring size: 6 (WEIGHT: 8.9 grams). This Kashmir is the most desired color, with its deep blue face and we did not observe any intensive silk. This is a very high quality sapphire
