This jade is truly magnificent, and has an incredible emerald green color. This intense emerald green color is incredibly rare for type A natural jadeite, and is the most highly sought after color you can find. This particular cabochon has a highly translucent green color and a beautifully smooth texture, and shows no indications of chemical treatment according to the accompanying Gemstone Report from the Nan Yang Gemological Institute. This piece has excellent investment potential, as the price for fine-quality jadeite has risen dramatically along with China's economic rise and the demand has significantly outpaced the supply of this rare material.
