Est. $40,000-$41,000 8.51ct GIA Certified Brazilian Emerald, 1.50ctw VS1-VS2/G-H Diamond & Solid 18K Yellow Gold Ring (Comes W/$40,000 Appraisal) - This gorgeous ring was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold, and boasts an 8.51ct GIA certified Brazilian emerald. Brazilian emeralds can be considered to be in the top investment tier, as their fine color and good transparency make these gemstones highly sought after in the marketplace. Unlike Colombian emeralds which get their color primarily from chromium, Brazilian emeralds get their color mainly from traces of vanadium and usually have less inclusions then their Colombian counterparts. Colored gemstones are now fetching premium prices and breaking auction records, and the colored gemstone industry is now achieving annual retail sales of approx. $18 billion-$21 billion with many designers saying that the emerald is dominating the luxury jewelry market. This emerald is a stunning lush transparent green color, and is an elegant octagonal step cut. The ring is also decorated with approx. 1.50ctw genuine VS1-VS2/G-H brilliant round cut diamonds surrounding the emerald, finishing the piece flawlessly. The head of the ring measures 18.5mm x 17mm and the band measures 4mm wide. The ring will come with a $40,000 insurance valuation report in the winning bidder's name by a graduate appraiser.
