Est. $18,000-$20,000 Elvis Presley's Custom Solid 18K Yellow Gold Rolls Royce Flying Lady Belt Buckle W/COAs From Graceland Authenticated, Jimmy Velvet, EP Archives & $79,500 Appraisal - This solid 18k yellow gold belt buckle was personally owned by Elvis Presley before it was given to his Aunt Delta, who lived at Graceland and was the only person living at Graceland after Elvis' tragic passing. The belt buckle was custom made for Elvis, and was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold. Elvis purchased his first Rolls Royce in 1960, and likely had this buckle made some time after. The highly detailed piece is in the form of a Rolls Royce grill, complete with the "Flying Lady" or "Spirit of Ecstasy" hood ornament. The buckle measures 2.25" x 2", and is marked "MW," "18K" and "1887". The belt buckle will be accompanied by the following documentation: letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated, Letter of authenticity from EP Archives of Las Vegas, Nevada, Certificate of Authenticity from Elvis Presley Museum signed by Jimmy Velvet, and a second letter from Jimmy Velvet which states that he was given this buckle by Aunt Delta one evening when he was called to visit Graceland by Delta's sister Nashville and that "Delta disclosed that she was going to pass away soon and wanted me to purchase all of the things which Elvis had given her over the years". Jimmy Velvet met Elvis in 1955 and remained very close with the Presley family even after Elvis' death. He owned and was President of The Elvis Presley Museum, and amassed the largest authentic collection of artifacts owned by Elvis Presley in the world. The belt buckle will also come with a three-page jewelry appraisal for $79,500 dated February 8th, 2013. (WEIGHT: 46.8 grams)
