Est. $6,000-$7,000 Dreamgirls (2006) Eddie Murphy Gold Lame Performance Tuxedo Worn as "Thunder Early" W/LOA - This costume was worn by Eddie Murphy as he portrayed the character "James 'Thunder' Early" in the 2006 romantic musical comedy-drama film, Dreamgirls. The costume is comprised of a custom made two piece gold lame tuxedo with satin lapels and pocket trim, and a white long-sleeved silk button down shirt with "EM" written in black ink and "Jan 2006" typed on the label. The costumers hold tag is attached and is written with "Dreamgirls, character: Jimmy, Actor: EM, Change: 5, Day: N8 1962, Scenes: #25-29, description: Int/Detroit Theatre". The tuxedo was worn by Eddie Murphy while performing on stage with the "Dreamettes". The garments are in very good screen used condition, and will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity from one of Hollywood's premier 4th generation costume and prop houses.
