Est. $35,000-$40,000 The Terminator (1984) Arnold Schwarzenegger Prop Franchi SPAS-12 Shotgun W/LOA - This shotgun was used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1984 James Cameron science-fiction action film, The Terminator. The Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun with serial number AB3482 includes a folding stock and has been modified to shoot blank rounds. The Terminator uses the shotgun to steal weapons from a gun store clerk and proceeds to hunt for "Sarah Connor" before eventually tracking Sarah and "Kyle Reese" to a police station where he takes out the policemen attempting to stop him from abducting Connor. The folding stock was removed for use in this scene and the Terminator fired the gun with one hand, displaying the strength of a cyborg. The property master rigged the rear sling mount with a black cord that attached to Arnold's wrist, which allowed the actor to bear the weight of the gun with one hand. The sling mount was later broken off and the bolt charging handle was removed by the armorer division of the props house for use in a subsequent production. The gun will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity from one of Hollywood's premier 4th generation costume and prop houses, signed by the film's property master Tommy Estridge. Please note: THE WEAPON CANNOT FIRE LIVE AMMUNITION AND HAS BEEN MODIFIED TO FIRE BLANKS.
