Est. $5,000-$5,500 Nothing But Trouble (1991) John Candy's Navy Blue Police Officer's Coat Worn as "Dennis" W/LOA - This coat was worn by John Candy as he portrayed the character "Dennis" in the 1991 horror comedy film, Nothing But Trouble. This navy blue custom made single breast police coat is a size 56 and includes a custom made police badge from the town of "Valkenvainia", shoulder patches, brass buttons with crest and "Salzburg" embossed, two flap pockets, single gold cuff stripe, and internal white name strip with "John Candy" hand written in black ball point pen. The badge and shoulder patches were replicated by the motion picture artists who made the originals for this production. This coat was worn by John Candy in several scenes in the film, specifically in when he is first seen in the film pulling over "Chris Thorne" and "Diane Lightson" for speeding. He also wears this coat in a later scene where he, Chris, and Diane are going to see the town judge. The coat is in excellent screen worn condition, and will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity from one of Hollywood's premier 4th generation costume and prop houses.
