Est. $125,000-$127,000 12.00ct No Heat Ceylon Cornflower Blue Sapphire in 1.00ctw VS1-VS2/G-H Diamond & Solid Platinum Ring W/Hallmarks (Comes W/$125,000 Appraisal) - This stunning ring was finely crafted of solid platinum, and boasts a magnificent 12.00ct (approximate) genuine Ceylon cornflower blue sapphire. The sapphire is nearly flawless, displays a rich velvety blue color and is an elegant and timeless emerald cut. This piece has excellent investment potential, as cornflower blue sapphires are incredibly rare and are some of the most sought after sapphires for their very distinct rich color which is a true blue color without a purple or violet hue. Most quality blue sapphires are under 5 carats, as larger sapphires are almost never found in this quality and are usually very heavily included. The sapphire is mounted in a 4-prong solid platinum setting, in a unique band with clean and modern angled, tapered shoulders. The ring is also embellished with approx. 1.00ctw genuine VS1-VS2/G-H channel set diamond accents, which are a unique tapered princess cut to fit into the tapered shoulders of the ring. The head of the ring measures 17mm x 12mm and the band measures 2.5mm wide. The inside of the band is stamped with several hallmarks.
