Est. $12,500-$13,500 1.60ct SI1-SI2/J-K Old European Cut Diamond & Solid Platinum Art Deco Ring W/0.15ctw Diamond Accents (Comes W/$12,500 Appraisal) - This stunning ring from the Art Deco period was finely crafted of solid platinum, and is embellished with a beautiful 1.60ct (approximate) genuine SI1-SI2/J-K Old European cut diamond solitaire. The diamond is fiery white and brilliantly eye clean and is set in an ornate solid platinum semi-mount with incised filigree details and millgrain borders, embodying the fine craftsmanship which is synonymous with the Art Deco movement. The ring is also finished with approx. 0.15ctw diamond accents on the shoulders and front and back sides of the bridge, finishing the piece beautifully. This piece has excellent investment potential as the ring appears to be in original condition, and original period pieces of this quality tend to hold their value and even appreciate in value better than most other asset classes. You simply do not find period pieces of this quality in today's market. The head of the ring measures 8.3mm in diameter and the band measures 1.5mm wide.
