Est. $36,000-$37,000 6.70ct GIA Certified No Heat Sri Lankan Color Change Blue Sapphire, 1.60ctw VS1-VS2/G-H Diamond & Solid Platinum Cocktail Ring (Comes W/$36,000 Appraisal) - This gorgeous cocktail ring was finely crafted of solid platinum, and boasts a stunning 6.70ct GIA certified Sri Lankan no heat blue sapphire. The sapphire is a beautiful oval cut and displays a lovely velvety blue color with a color change from "violitish blue to purple". This piece has excellent investment potential, as sapphires from Sri Lanka are some of the world's most famous and sought after sapphires due to the color in the blues only second to the extremely rare Kashmir sapphire. Today Sri Lankan sapphires are the most sought by the top gem buyers and collectors from around the globe. No heat sapphires of this size and quality are becoming more and more scarce, and are nearly impossible to find in today's market. The sapphire is set in a 4-prong ballerina style setting which is embellished with approx. 1.60ctw genuine VS1-VS2/G-H round and baguette cut diamonds, finishing the piece beautifully. The table of the ring measures approx. 22mm x 17mm, and the band measures 3.3mm wide. The ring will be accompanied by the GIA report for the sapphire, along with a $36,000 insurance valuation report in the winning bidder's name by a graduate appraiser. Ring size: 6.5 (WEIGHT: 13.4 grams). This is a fantastic investment piece as it is well over 5ct and has no heat treatment detected on the GIA report.
