Est. $45,000-$48,000 Elvis Presley's 0.40ctw Diamond, Lapis & Solid 14K Yellow Gold Ring W/(3) LOAs & Notarized Bill of Sale - This solid 14k yellow gold, diamond and lapis ring was purchased and worn by Elvis Presley in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The ring has a 14.5mm blue lapis center and is finished with (14) diamonds totaling approx. 0.40 carats. Elvis purchased the ring from his Memphis jeweler Lowell Hayes, and later gave the ring to long time friend and road manager Joe Esposito. Esposito later sold the ring back to Lowell Hayes, as is documented in the accompanying letter from Hayes dated August 25th, 1978. The ring was then sold by Hayes to two fans, Jack Johnson and James Ledford, who sold the piece to collector Mike L. Moon who exhibited the ring at his Elvis Museums for over 30 years. The sale to Mike Moon is documented in the accompanying notarized bill of sale dated October 8th, 1980, and the ring will also include a second letter of authenticity from Michael B. Moon, son of Mike L. Moon, and a third from "EP Archives" of Las Vegas, Nevada, indicating that the offered piece was among the items purchased from the Mike Moon collection in 2018. The ring measures 16.3mm wide across the top of the piece, is a ring size 8.75 and weighs 22.9 grams.
