Est. $20,000-$25,000 Terminator 2 (1991) Stan Winston Studio Hand Stitched Prototype T-800 Bust W/COA - This amazing piece is a hand stitched prototype T-800 bust created by the Stan Winston studio for the 1991 James Cameron American science-fiction action film, Terminator 2. The prototype bust features ultra-realistic features, and hand stitched hair and details. The piece was made by the Stan Winston Studio, as Winston was a frequent collaborator with director James Cameron as a special make-up effects creator. Stan Winston worked on films such as the Terminator series, the first three Jurassic Park films, Aliens, the first two Predator films, Inspector Gadget, Iron Man and Edward Scissorhands, and won four Academy Awards for his work. According to our seller, while Stan Winston was meeting with James Cameron to discuss the special effects for the film, there were six stages of Endoskeleton heads made (only one was made of each stage), and this was the sixth and final stage which was showed to James Cameron. The bust then sat displayed on Winston's desk at his studio before it was acquired. The bust measures 13"H x 9"W, and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
