Est. $20,000-$25,000 Elvis Presley's Tony Alamo 2-Piece Embellished Denim Suit W/(2) LOAs - This 2-piece light blue denim suit was owned and worn by Elvis Presley. Elvis wore these types of denim suits in 1974 and 1975, and this suit is especially rare as it was created by the infamous designer Tony Alamo. According to our seller, the suit was worn by Elvis before giving it to Ed Hill of the Stamps Quartet, most likely during what has now been called the Jungle Room recording sessions. The suit includes a long jacket and wide legged trousers, and has been embellished with rhinestones and studded details. Both pieces have an interior Tony Alamo of Nashville label. Alamo's claim to fame was the creation of his popular rhinestone jackets series in the 1980s, which clothed stars like Elvis Presley, Mike Tyson, Prince and Michael Jackson. This suit was later sold to collector Mike L. Moon who exhibited and/or stored the piece at his Elvis Museums for over 30 years. The suit will be accompanied by a notarized certificate of authenticity documenting the original sale to Mike Moon signed by Charlie Hodge and Ed Hill, along with a second letter of authenticity "EP Archives" of Las Vegas, Nevada, indicating that the offered piece was among the items purchased from the Mike Moon collection in 2018.
