Est. $7,000-$8,000 Solid 18K Yellow Gold Emperor's Antique Dragon Ring Made in Paris (From a Vietnamese Royal Family) - This handsome ring was made in Paris in the late 1800s and was given as a gift to the Emperor of Vietnam. The ring has an ornate high relief design and a heavy and luxurious feel. It was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold, and the band is created by a high relief coiling dragon motif. The ring shows excellent attention to detail with incised scale details and a lovely satin finish. The inside of the band is stamped with the French eagle head hallmark, denoting a gold purity of 18k. This ring was kept by the emperor in his personal collection before it was passed down, and it has been a prized possession of the family's for several generations. This piece comes from the estate of a Vietnamese Royal Family (the family now lives in the United States, and wishes to remain private as they still have relatives living in Vietnam). The ring measures 14.5mm wide at the widest point, and is ring size 10. (WEIGHT: 16.7 grams)
