Est. $38,000-$39,000 6.17ct GIA Certified No Heat Pear Cut Burma Ruby in 0.50ctw VS1-VS2/F-G Diamond & Solid 18K Yellow Gold 16" Necklace (Comes W/$38,000 Appraisal) - This beautiful necklace is made of solid 18k yellow gold, and boasts a stunning GIA certified 6.17ct genuine pear cut Burma ruby. The ruby has a gorgeous raspberry red color, and has "no indications of heating" according to the GIA report. The ruby is set in 19.5mm tear drop pendant, surrounded by a halo of approx. 0.50ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G round-cut diamonds, which the GIA report describes as "near colorless". The necklace measures approx. 16" long, and is in beautiful condition. This piece has excellent investment potential, as you cannot find rubies of this quality in today's market due to the United States having a ban on the importation of Burma Rubies from Myanmar since 2008. The piece will be accompanied by the GIA report for the ruby, along with a $38,000 insurance valuation report in the winning bidder's name by a graduate appraiser. (WEIGHT: 8.9 grams)
