Est. $23,000-$24,000 8.50ct GIA Certified Sri Lankan Blue Sapphire, 0.60ctw VS1-VS2/G-H Diamond & Solid 18K Yellow Gold Ring (Comes W/$23,000 Appraisal) - This lovely ring was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold, and boasts a beautiful 8.50ct (approximate) GIA certified heart cut Sri Lankan blue sapphire cabochon. This piece has excellent investment potential, as sapphires from Sri Lanka are some of the world's most famous and sought after sapphires due to the color in the blues only second to the extremely rare Kashmir sapphire. Today Sri Lankan sapphires are the most sought by the top gem buyers and collectors from around the globe. The sapphire is bezel set in the center of the ring, and displays a stunning deep velvety blue color. The ring is then finished with approx. 0.60ctw genuine VS1-VS2/G-H baguette cut diamond accents set into the shoulders of the piece, finishing the ring flawlessly. The ring measures 16.5mm wide across the top of the piece, and has a heavy and luxurious feel. The ring will be accompanied by the GIA report for the sapphire, along with a $23,000 insurance valuation report in the winning bidder's name by a graduate appraiser.
