Est. $2,500-$3,000 Bvlgari Tondo Solid 18K Yellow Gold & Stainless Steel Capricorn Pendant on Black Leather Cord Necklace (Retired Piece) - This lovely necklace was made by Bvlgari, and made its debut as part of the now retired Tondo zodiac collection. The necklace is comprised of a solid 18k yellow gold and stainless steel medallion pendant which hangs on a 5mm thick black leather cord necklace finished with a stainless steel lobster clasp. The pendant has an 18k yellow gold bale and yellow gold center set in a stainless steel bezel, and is decorated with a pierced Capricorn zodiac symbol and incised Bvlgari logo on the steel bezel. The pendant measures 1.75" in length (including the bale) and the necklace measures 15" in length. Both pieces are signed with the Bvlgari hallmark, and the pendant is also stamped "gold and steel", along with the gold purity and Italian assay mark. This piece has excellent investment potential, as it is a rare retired piece which is incredibly hard to find, and is no longer in production. This is a beautiful piece that was made by one of the most famous fine jewelry designers in the world. This necklace is not only a fine jewelry investment piece, but is also a work of art. Bvlgari is known for its bold gold work and magnificent use of colored stones, and has been worn by some of the world's most beautiful women including Sophia Lauren, Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn to Nicole Kidman, Catherine Zeta Jones, and Keira Knightly.
