Est. $5,000-$6,500 Janet Jackson's Signed Black Guess Jeans Worn in "Pleasure Principle" Music Video W/Letter of Provenance & COA - These black jeans were worn by Janet Jackson during the filming of the iconic music video for the hit 1987 song "The Pleasure Principle". The video depicts Jackson entering a loft wearing only a T-shirt and jeans to practice her dancing. It was seen by critics as iconic, and was nominated at two categories at the 1988 MTV Video Music Awards, eventually winning one. These black Guess jeans along with an oversized cropped denim jacket and t-shirt were also featured in a 2017 Billboard article "5 of Janet Jackson's Best Music Video Looks". The jeans are signed in black marker "Pleasure Principle Janet Jackson 88", and have been framed in a presentation along with the cover for the single. The piece will be accompanied by a letter of provenance, along with a certificate of authenticity. Measurements: 28.75" x 41.5".
