Est. $28,000-$30,000 83.10ct Yellow-Orange Fire Opal, 11.25ctw Multi-Color Tourmaline, 2.25ctw VS1-VS2 Multi-Colored Diamond & Solid 18K Yellow Gold 18" Necklace (W/$30,000 Appraisal) - This stunning necklace was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold, and is comprised of a 3.25" x 2" pendant which hangs on an 18" open link chain. The pendant boasts a massive 83.10ct genuine pear-cut Mexican fire opal set in a 4-prong setting in the center of the piece. The opal has a fiery, vibrant yellow-orange color with a unique glowing quality, and you would almost think that it would glow in the dark. This rare gemstone is created in the ancient Mexican volcanoes, when water seeps into the flowing lava, and is becoming increasingly harder to come by. The opal is surrounded by approx. 11.25ctw genuine round-cut pink, yellow, orange, green and blue tourmalines which are approx. 0.45ct each. The pendant is further embellished with approx. 2.25ctw genuine VS1-VS2 fiery white diamonds lining the outer perimeter of the piece and decorating the bale, and is also finished with yellow and pink diamond accents, showing magnificent attention to detail. This is truly a showstopping piece which radiates beauty and grandeur. (WEIGHT: 48.8 grams) Please note: This piece will come with a $30,000 insurance valuation report in the winning bidder's name by a graduate appraiser.
