The emerald has a lush deep green color with a blueish color shift that only the finest emeralds have, and an emerald this quality can wholesale for approx. $6,000 or more per carat. The emerald is set in a 4-prong setting in the center of the piece, surrounded by approx. 1.40ctw genuine VS2-SI1 round-cut yellow diamonds which create a halo around the emerald. The ring is then finished with approx. 0.85ctw VS2-SI1/G-H round-cut diamond accents which create an outer halo and line the shoulders of the ring, finishing the piece beautifully.
