The tanzanite is set in the center of the piece in a 4-prong setting, surrounded by a double halo of approx. 0.80ctw genuine SI1-SI2/G-H brilliant round-cut pave diamonds which also line the shoulders of the ring. This piece has excellent investment potential, as this stunning gem is becoming increasingly sought after by collectors, as it is rarer than a diamond and only found in one place on earth. Tanzanite continues to rise in value due to its rarity and its beautiful, rich violet-blue color. This tanzanite is truly near flawless, and is an intense deep blue color with a very slight violet undertone, one of the most sought after colors you can find in today's market.
