Est. $87,000-$92,000 5.08ct GIA Certified Color Change Alexandrite in 2.00ctw VS2-SI1/G-H Diamond & Solid 14K White Gold Band W/$92,000 Appraisal - This stunning ring was finely crafted of solid 14k white gold, and boasts a gorgeous GIA certified 5.08ct genuine oval-cut alexandrite. Alexandrite is an extremely rare gemstone with pleochroic (color-changing) properties when viewed from different directions, and the most beautiful alexandrites also change color from daylight or fluorescent light to incandescent light due to its unusual light-absorbing properties. This beautiful gemstone is "Green changing to Brownish Purple" according to the GIA report, and due to its lovely color and larger size (most Alexandrites are less than 1.00ct), this stone alone could retail for approx. $17,000 or more per carat. The alexandrite is set in a 4-prong setting at the top of the ring, surrounded by approx. 2.00ctw genuine VS2-SI1/G-H round-cut diamond accents in a two-tiered setting. The ring has an upper tier containing approx. 0.10ct-0.15ct channel set diamonds lining either side of the alexandrite, and is finished with a lower tier of approx. 0.03ct pave set accent diamonds lining the two outer rows. The diamonds have a brilliant radiance about them, are fiery white and beautifully eye clean. This ring will be accompanied by the GIA report for the alexandrite, which is dated 2018. This ring is in beautiful condition, and truly radiates beauty and sophistication. The head of the ring measures approx. 11mm x 8mm, and the band measures approx. 10mm wide (at the widest point). Ring size: 6.75 (WEIGHT: 11.9 grams) Please note: This piece will come with a $92,000 appraisal by a graduate appraiser in the winning bidder's name for insurance purposes.
