Est. $9,500-$10,500 1.00ctw Padparadscha Sapphire, 0.40ctw Pink & White Diamond Solid 14K Rose Gold 1" Drop Earrings - These lovely earrings are made of solid 14k rose gold, and are decorated with approx. 1.00ctw genuine oval-cut Padparadscha Sapphires. These earrings have excellent investment potential, as Padparadscha Sapphires are among the rarest gems on the planet. They are strikingly beautiful and almost no other colored gemstone compares to their unique mix of pink and orange. Padparadscha sapphires may be little known to the general public, but they are treasured by gemstone connoisseurs. These stunning gemstones display a lovely, orangy-pink color with a strong saturation. The earrings are also decorated with approx. 0.30ctw genuine pink diamonds and are each finished with a 0.05ct SI1-SI2/G-H diamond accent which rests just above the sapphire. The earrings show wonderful attention to detail, as the white diamonds are set in white gold to best display their radiant white color. Naturally colored pink diamonds are very rare and only a few are produced each year. With the exception of red diamonds, high-quality pinks are the most expensive natural diamond color in the market today. Pink diamonds are incredibly rare, and are likely to become even more scarce as the Argyle mine in Australia which provides 95% of the market's pink diamonds is scheduled to close by 2020.
