Est. $100,000-$125,000 Luca Pedersoli’s 2008 Buell 1125R Winning Race Motorcycle Used in 2008 SuperTwins Race W/Record Lap Time – This exceptional motorcycle is a 2008 Buell 1125R. According to our seller, this is the bike on which Italian rally driver and motorcyclist Luca Pedersoli won the SuperTwins Trophy against Max Temporali, at the Magione Umbrian racetrack in 2008. Pedersoli also marked the record lap time on this motorcycle at only 1.15’. For this 1125R the Buell chassis was combined with the Austrian Rotax engines arranged in a 72 ° V, keeping the liquid-cooled Helicon twin cylinders. The swingarm is in the hub of the crankcase, with three countershafts, electronic fuel injection and throttle bodies. The bike has a “dell’Orto” carburetor with a diameter of 61mm, a six-speed gear and a slipper clutch. The engine performances are: 146 hp at 9800 rpm expression of power in Nm 111 at 8000 rpm. The radiators on the sides of the bike have a unique and peculiar design, and the chassis contains up to 21 liters of gasoline. The bike has a semi-circle analogue rev counter and also has a Goodyear toothed belt, chosen because it does not need any maintenance and is lighter and more silent than any other belt. It also has Showa fork, Ohlin mono and shock absorber, 375mm break disk, 6 caliper pistons and brand new tires: slick 120/70 and 180/55.
