The piece is titled "Marilyn Madonna & Child", and is said to be the only work of art in which Marilyn Monroe is portrayed as a mother. Prince Lorenzo created this piece with inspiration from the 16th C. painting "The Sibyl predicting to Emperor Augustus the Birth of Christ". To depict a Madonna with Child as Marilyn Monroe, one of the most famous and beautiful stars in history, with the adorable Christ Child on her hands is a masterly idea by Prince Lorenzo. To connect his artwork with the unique Basilica of Ara Coeli architecture and the divine shinning Glory, Prince Lorenzo worked in Venice with famous Italian framer Francesco Di Pumpo creating unique effects of brilliance and light with a designed set of golden wood pieces.
