Est. $30,000-$35,000 "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" Marilyn Monroe Art Installation W/Ferragamo Red Swarovski Crystal Pumps & Life Size Marilyn by Prince Lorenzo de' Medici (Comes W/Letter of Authenticity on Royal Letterhead) - This beautiful and unique, one of a kind art installation was created by Prince Lorenzo de’ Medici. The piece is an approx.. 6’ x 3’ art box, which contains a life size cut out of Marilyn Monroe in a crimson red gown, from the film “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes”. The piece also contains a pair of red Salvatore Ferragamo pumps, which are completely covered with red Swarovski crystals. These pumps are a copy of the same pair which Ferragamo personally designed for Marilyn for the film in 1953. It is said that Marilyn was one of Ferragamo’s favorite leading ladies, as well as one of his most loyal customers. The original shoes are now housed in the Ferragamo Museum in Italy. These pumps are Marilyn’s size 8 and are genuine Ferragamo shoes, and will be accompanied by a certificate. Prince Lorenzo has decorated the 5’6” Marilyn with matching red Swarovski crystals, creating a magnificent work of art. The piece is signed by Prince Lorenzo with the Medici family crest and wax seal. This piece will come with a letter of authenticity from Prince Lorenzo, on his personal letterhead.
