Est. $224,000-$225,000 62.15ctw Burma Ruby, 6.00ctw VS1-VS2/G-H Diamond & Solid Platinum Cocktail Necklace/Earring Set W/AGTA Report & $225,000 Appraisal (One of a Kind) - This stunning suite of jewelry was finely crafted of solid platinum, and contains approx. 62.15ctw genuine cabochon Burma rubies. The necklace measures approx. 16" in length, and is finished with a 1.75" suspended pendant containing an 11.53ct ruby. The remainder of the necklace is comprised of 1.25ct to 3.00ct (approximate) rubies, which are each individually set in 4-prong settings and surrounded by a halo of diamonds. The rubies are a vibrant, raspberry red color and show "no indications of heating" according to the AGTA report (please see photo of report). The jewelry suite also contains approx. 6.00ctw genuine VS1-VS2/G-H brilliant round-cut diamonds, which are fiery white and beautifully eye clean. The earrings measure approx. 1.75" in length, and have a simple yet elegant design that is truly timeless. This magnificent set of jewelry has a heavy and luxurious feel, and truly radiates beauty and poise. This piece has excellent investment potential, as you cannot find rubies of this quality in today's market due to the United States having a ban on the importation of Burma Rubies from Myanmar since 2008. The piece will be accompanied by the AGTA report for the ruby, which is dated 2009.
