Est. $25,000-$27,000 Van Cleef & Arpels Vintage 3.86ctw VS1-VS2/D-E Diamond & Solid 18K Yellow Gold 1.6" Star Pendant/Brooch in VCA Pouch (W/$27,000 Appraisal) - This stunning vintage brooch was made by Van Cleef & Arpels, and was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold. This is an incredibly rare piece with a 5-point star motif, which is unique for this brand which typically uses flowing, whimsical and floral motifs. This amazing brooch has an elegant and lavish design, and is set with approx. 3.86ctw genuine VS1-VS2/D-E brilliant round-cut diamonds. The diamonds are fiery white and stunningly eye clean, and look absolutely magnificent against the vibrant highly polished yellow gold. This particular piece is incredibly rare and nearly impossible to find, and is in near mint condition. This brooch was likely made in an extremely limited quantity, as the markings appear to be hand scratched on to the piece as opposed to stamped on. The brooch is signed "Van Cleef & Arpels", along with the gold purity, unique serial number and carat weight of the diamonds. The piece will come housed in a Van Cleef suede pouch. The brooch measures approx. 1.6"L x 1.75"W, and has a versatile design which allows the piece to be worn as a brooch or as a pendant on a necklace.
