Est. $30,000-$35,000 Vietnamese Carved Exotic Composition Lidded Jewelry Box of Hexagonal Form W/Multi-Colored Landscape Scenes & Separate Stand - This magnificent piece is a Vietnamese hand carved exotic composition jewelry box. The box is of hexagonal form, and has a stunningly ornate motif with different landscape scenes on each side. The top of the box is also decorated with an ornate landscape, and a border of various decorations including a scroll, artemisia leaf and instrument. The box has a removable lid with a mirror on the inside, and is lined in red fabric. The box rests on a separate hand carved stand with a scrolling dragon motif. This is a true modern day treasure, and a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of Vietnamese history.
