Est. $9,500-$10,000 Solid 14K Yellow Gold Custom Made 2" 50 Peso Gold Coin Pendant on 30" Rope Chain - This handsome necklace is made of solid 14k yellow gold. The custom made pendant has a solid 14k yellow gold bezel, which contains a solid gold 37.5 gram Mexican 50 Peso Centario coin. This coin is often compared to America's most beautiful coin, the $20 Saint-Gaudens, for its striking motif. The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Winged Victory standing in front of the Mexican volcanoes Iztacc'huatl and Popocat'ptl. The obverse also lists the face value, the gold content, and the date of issue opposite the date of Mexican Independence, 1821. The reverse features an eagle and snake design surrounded by the words "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS". This lovely pendant measures 2" in length, and hangs on a 30" solid 14k yellow gold rope chain.
